200 Hour Registered Yoga School (RYS)

Join us for our inaugural CCY 200-hour Registered Yoga School at the serene Simpsonwood Retreat Center in Atlanta, Georgia, and a satellite program in Katy, Texas. We offer a fall 2010-summer 2011 monthly weekend program, beginning in June, 2011. Both programs are designed to equip you with the tools to share with believers and seekers alike the glory and grace of the Everlasting God as manifested by the love of Christ and as guided by the Holy Spirit, through the venue of yoga. Our training is for those who desire to deepen their knowledge of both the physical aspects of yoga and the spiritual aspects of applying God’s word to our daily living and for those who feel called to share this knowledge with a hurting world. Graduates will be eligible to apply as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. Graduates will also obtain all the resources and support necessary to begin Christ Centered Yoga® classes/ministries in their community.

20 Hour Teacher Training for current RYT’s

We are pleased to offer our inaugural CCY-RT 20 hour teacher training at the serene Simpsonwood Retreat and Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia, and a satellite program in Katy, Texas. Join us for our fully accredited program, for those who are currently Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT’s) or Experienced Registered Yoga Teachers (E-RYT’s) with Yoga Alliance or a nationally recognized equivalent. The program is designed to equip you with the tools necessary to share with believers and seekers alike the glory and grace of the Everlasting God as manifested by the love of Christ and as guided by the Holy Spirit, through the venue of yoga. Our training is for those who desire to deepen their knowledge of both the physical aspects of yoga and the spiritual aspects of applying God’s word to our daily living and for those who feel called to share this knowledge with a hurting world. Graduates will earn the Christ Centered Yoga – Registered Teacher (CCY-RT) distinction. Graduates will also obtain all the resources and support necessary to begin Christ Centered Yoga® classes/ministries in their community.

Our class begins with a reading of God's word. As we study God's truth, it begins to lay the mental and spiritual foundation by which we add the physical practice of yoga.
